Strategic Intent 2007-2011

We are the nation's first line of defense. We accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go. We carry out our mission by:
Collecting information that reveals the plans, intentions and capabilities of our adversaries and provides the basis for decision and action.
Producing timely analysis that provides insight, warning and opportunity to the President and decisionmakers charged with protecting and advancing America's interests.
Conducting covert action at the direction of the President to preempt threats or achieve US policy objectives.

"Somos la Nación en la primera línea de defensa. Nosotros conseguimos lo que otros no pueden y vamos donde otros no pueden ir. Llevamos a cabo nuestra misión de la siguiente forma:
Recolectamos información que revela planes, intenciones y posibilidades de nuestros adversarios, y nos provee de bases para decisiones y acciones.
Producimos análisis a tiempo que provee visiones, advertencias y oportnidades para el Presidente (de los EEUU) y toma de decisiones en protección de los intereses de América (EEUU)
Conduccion de acciones encubiertas bajo las directivas del Presidente (de los EEUU) para prevenir atentados o mejorar los objetivos políticos de EEUU."
